Interreligious Dialogue 2 - GRL-R551

Over the many centuries, the attitude of Catholics towards believers from other religions had generally been very negative. The Second Vatican Council was called by Pope John XXIII to update the Church's relation with the world and all its peoples. In doing this he started the movement towards dialogue with other religions. Since them there have been many teaching documents related to interreligious Dialogue.
